With room for up to seven passengers and an impressive storage space of 2,469 liters, the long-wheelbase ID. Buzz is ready for North American roads and beyond. The increased wheelbase creates room for an extra row of seats and houses a new, larger 85 kWh battery. Further features include a high-tech panoramic sunroof and a next-generation infotainment system.

Volkswagen has also announced a 250 kW (339 hp) all-wheel drive version, the ID. Buzz GTX04, for 2024. This powerful model promises to handle highway merges with ease, thanks to a 0-100 km/h sprint time of just 6.4 seconds.

Starting 2024, the first ID. Buzz vehicles will be delivered in America. Almost parallel to this, the ID. Buzz with long wheelbase will be available in Europe. These electric buses will be produced at one of the world’s most advanced automotive plants in Hanover, the home of the VW Bus family.
